An important event on November 4, 2025 that brought together 100 Israeli and German scientists in Berlin to promote collaboration, dialogue, and mutual understanding. It’s truly inspiring to see how science can connect people beyond politics and borders. Organizers: ScienceAbroad, German Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research & Development (GIF), and DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service)Outstanding postdoctoral researchers and young principal investigators from German and Israeli academic and research institutions presented their research through a scientific poster presentation or a pitch talk. The evening program included also panel discussions, short scientific lectures, a poster session,
reception, and dedicated networking opportunities.
In a time when some promote boycotts against Israel, this conference became a powerful statement of connection, curiosity, and shared purpose. After this event all participants took part at the Falling Walls Lab Berlin Science Summit 2025, where they could successfully continue promoting international scientific collaboration and innovation.
