We were honored to organize an enriching information session at Bar-Ilan University: “Bar-Ilan University and German Academia: Funding Opportunities for Study and Research”, focusing on short-term grants and study scholarships in Germany.
Joined by esteemed partners like the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres – Israel office, and The Scientific Coordination Office Bavaria – Israel, of the Bavarian Research Alliance, we explored diverse scientific opportunities in Germany.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Prof. Moshe Lewenstein, Deputy President of Bar Ilan University, followed by Mr. Marco Mattheis, Cultural Attaché of the German Embassy (in Hebrew!)
Special thanks to our DAAD Alumni Dr. Ziv Bohrer and DAAD scholarship recipient Yoni Brukirer, who joined us. They shared their experience on how the research trip to Germany expands your capabilities and improves your academic opportunities.
The evening concluded with live music by Bar-Ilan staff band “The Seq Pistols”, complemented by free beer and pretzels!
