We continue to recap our busy month! Last Sunday, we had a great opportunity to come to Be'er Sheva and to hold an engaging information session at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. We were happy to witness a strong interest from more than 60 participants in exploring research grants and study scholarships in Germany offered by the DAAD. Big thanks to the Center for Austrian & German Studies - Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, who helped facilitate this event and did a fantastic job!

DAAD and אוניברסיטת חיפה - University of Haifa On July 4th, we had the chance to hold an Information Session at Haifa University, focusing on funding opportunities in Germany for PhD students, Postdocs and Academic Staff. We were delighted to have representatives from the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres - Israel office, the Scientific Coordination Office Bavaria - Israel, Bavarian Research Alliance and GIF - The German Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research & Development, providing valuable information and guidance. The event included an engaging Q&A session, and was accompanied by a picturesque view of Haifa from the Student house at the hilltop. Bar Ilan We were honored to organize an enriching information session at Bar-Ilan University: "Bar-Ilan University and German Academia: Funding Opportunities for Study and Research", focusing on short-term grants and study scholarships in Germany. Joined by esteemed partners like the #Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres - Israel office, and The Scientific Coordination Office Bavaria - Israel, of the Bavarian Research Alliance, we explored diverse scientific opportunities in Germany. The event commenced with a warm welcome from Prof. Moshe Lewenstein, Deputy President of Bar Ilan University, followed by Mr. Marco Mattheis, Cultural Attaché of the German Embassy (in Hebrew!) Special thanks to our DAAD Alumni Dr. Ziv Bohrer and DAAD scholarship recipient Yoni Brukirer, who joined us. They shared their experience on how the research trip to Germany expands your capabilities and improves your academic opportunities. At the end of June, DAAD Israel organized a highly informative webinar for students and researchers of the The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
