Zu besetzen ist die folgende Position: Leitung (m, w, d) für das Informationszentrum in Tel Aviv in Vollzeit Der Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst e.V. (DAAD) ist die weltweit größte Förderorganisation für die grenzüberschreitende wissenschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und den internationalen Austausch von Studierenden sowie Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern. Seine Mitglieder sind die deutschen Hochschulen und ihre Studierendenschaften. Weltweit 21 Außenstellen und 35 weitere Standorte mit Informationszentren zum Hochschul- und Forschungsstandort Deutschland leisten einen wichtigen Beitrag zur internationalen Expertise des DAAD. Am DAAD-Informationszentrum (IC) in Tel Aviv informieren Sie über den Studien- und Forschungsstandort Deutschland und beraten bei der Suche nach einem geeigneten Studiengang und Hochschulort. Darüber hinaus informiert das IC über Fördermöglichkeiten des DAAD und anderer deutscher Mittlerorganisationen und pflegt Kontakte zu den israelischen Alumni deutscher Hochschulen. Vor diesem Hintergrund widmen Sie sich folgenden Aufgaben: • Leitung der Geschäfte des lokalen Büros, Budgetverantwortung, Vertretung des DAAD sowie Ansprechpartner für örtliche/überregionale Kooperationspartnerin Absprache mit der Zentrale • Koordinierung der Informations- und Beratungstätigkeit vor Ort für alle Bereiche der wissenschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit zwischen Deutschland und Israel sowie der Studien- und Stipendienberatung inkl. Beratung von Studieninteressierten sowie (Nachwuchs-) Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern • Koordinierung der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (Webauftritt des Büros, Social-Media-Aktivitäten) sowie Konzeption geeigneter und regionalspezifischer Marketingmaßnahmen für Hochschul- und Forschungsmarketing; Vertretung des DAAD bei Hochschulmessen • Mitarbeit in Bezug auf das Wissensmanagement des DAAD durch kontinuierliche Analyse des nationalen Bildungs- und Hochschulsystems sowie der Forschungslandschaft inkl. Beratung von deutschen Hochschulen • Mitarbeit bei der Vorbereitung und Begleitung von Auswahlsitzungen zu DAADStipendienprogrammen sowie anderer Förderprogramme in Absprache mit den Fachreferaten • Netzwerkpflege und Ausbau von Netzwerken in Bezug auf Alumni, Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen sowie lokale Partner des DAAD Ihr Profil: ✓ Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium (Master, Diplom, Magister, Staatsexamen) ✓ Sehr gute Kenntnisse der deutschen und israelischen Hochschul- und Forschungslandschaft ✓ Fundierte Erfahrungen in der Konzeption und Durchführung von Veranstaltungen sowie im Bereich Öffentlichkeitsarbeit ✓ Sehr gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Hebräischkenntnisse wünschenswert ✓ Interesse am Aufbau einer effektiven Büroorganisation und am Finanzmanagement des Büros (z.B. Budgetplanung und -abrechnungen); idealerweise Erfahrungen im Bereich Stipendienförderung, Zuwendungsrecht und Projektförderung ✓ Erfahrung im Umgang mit kleineren Teams erwünscht ✓ Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office-Produkten und im Bereich Social Media; ✓ Erfahrungen im Umgang mit SAP-Programmen (S4/HANA) erwünscht ✓ Fähigkeit zum selbstständigen Arbeiten, ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit und sehr gute interkulturelle Kommunikationsfähigkeit ✓ Belastbarkeit, Zuverlässigkeit, Verhandlungsgeschick Unser Angebot: Als Arbeitgeber legt der DAAD großen Wert auf eine Unternehmenskultur, die internationale Vernetzung, Vielfalt und offene Zusammenarbeit fördert. The Käte Hamburger Research Centre global dis:connect (gd:c) invites master’s students and doctoral candidates in the humanities, as well as creative professionals at any career stage, to participate in a week-long summer school in Munich, Germany. Applications invited for the Leo Baeck Fellowship Programme 2026/27, Deadline February 1st, 2026 We are happy to advertise the international Leo Baeck Fellowship Programme 2026/2027 (German academic year October 2026-September 2027). We invite applications from PhD students who carry out research in the field of German-Jewish history and culture. The programme is jointly organised by the Leo Baeck Institute London, the Leibniz Institute for Jewish History and Culture – Simon Dubnow in Leipzig and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. Our programme is open to PhD candidates worldwide. The deadline for application is February 1st, 2026. Fellows receive a stipend of 1,650 € a month. In addition a monthly research allowance of 100 € is available. Fellows can also apply for supplements for health insurance (max. 100 €/month) and childcare, as well as travel allowances to support research tips and participation at conferences abroad. Contributions to tuition fees outside Germany may also be granted (max. 10,000 € per calendar year) and monthly supplements outside Germany.
